Just two records from Oxfordshire in the 1980s, for this species that is rare nationally (established in Suffolk and Norfolk). Part of a group of Caloptilia species that has become challenging to identify, due to the variation within and between the two broods, and the potential presence of additional similar species. Dissection is required to confirm any record of this species in our area.
