Ancylis myrtillana

Mainly a northern species in the UK but also distributed across some areas of the south-east. Not really to be expected in our region but there are a couple of old larval records from Bilberry Vaccinium myrtillus at Aspley Heath on the Bucks border with Bedfordshire, along with one more recent sighting of an adult from further west which was a presumed vagrant (dissected to confirm).
