An adventive from Australia first discovered in Cornwall in 1936. From the 1980s onwards it spread rapidly throughout the UK and is now one of the most frequently recorded tortrix species. Common and widespread across our region. Sexually dimorphic, with the female larger than the male. Both are quite variable in appearance.
