A very rare species associated with Juniper Juniperus communis which is now extinct in our region, as it is from the rest of England, although there are some colonies still in the far north of Scotland. The last fully documented record from our area was at Moulsford Downs by Lt/Col Arthur Maitland Emmet in July 1970.
