A recent arrival, recorded widely across the region. Formerly a scarce immigrant to Britain, greatly increased in the 21st century and now established in parts of southeast England. Recorded in numbers at a site in West Oxfordshire in 2021 and likely to be breeding there and elsewhere in the region.
